PROVEM was created to meet a provincial need for structured mobilisation to and strategic use of existing real-world evidence in oncology.
By facilitating its mobilisation, the platform helps reduce uncertainty surrounding the evaluation, introduction and positioning of therapeutic innovations in real-world care settings.
PROVEM aims to improve oncology care in Quebec by facilitating mobilisation to and promotion of real-world evidence, including patient experience, in order to support informed decisions regarding the development, planning, investment, and delivery of care.
PROVEM aims to become a strategic partner of choice within the healthcare ecosystem, supporting the optimization of care and the adoption of innovations in oncology through the rigorous, coordinated, and sustainable use of real-world data.
The Board of Directors is composed of Alice Dragomir, Sylvie Lambert, Aude Motulski and Jean-Noël Nikiema. Its role is to develop the strategic and scientific planning of the PROVEM platform, supervise the execution of strategic and operational objectives, and ensure compliance with the platform’s governance framework.
The Scientific and Feasibility Assessment Committee is composed of the four directors and the operational team. Its role is to assess membership applications and projects submitted to the platform and the PROVEM-PRO bank.
